Michael Worsham - Artist Information
I work from photographs taking quick snapshots that are laid back and non static. These scenes are usually from friends and family that are very close to me. When I work I like to copy details of what I see and add my own artist’s personality to every piece. I consider myself a figurative artist. Loving portraiture, I use informal compositions that are more interesting to me than traditional poses. Some of my work also displays a sense of humour, being informal juxtaposing to formal posing. A few of my influences are Mary Cassatt, William Bouguereau, Kahinde Wiley, and Michael Vasquez.
Greg Evans - Artist Information
In early 2009, a very special friend of mine inspired me to begin painting and bought me some art supplies. I later sat in my kitchen with my 15 year old son, Talan, and painted my first painting. From that day on, I have been inspired by family and friends to continue my painting. I have been a certified law enforcement officer in Central Arkansas for the past 18 years. My painting is not only a hobby for me now, but a great stress reliever. I have learned to enjoy painting and am constantly looking for new ideas. My paintings are inspired by something or someone in my life. If anyone is interested in my paintings, I can be reached by emailing me at gevans@pcso.org.
Jamie Hendrix - Artist Information
Jami Hendrix-Hagan was born in Arkansas in 1971. When she was seven her family moved to Boca Raton, FL; where she graduated from Boca High School. She came back to Arkansas to attend Henderson State for four years and got her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology in Ruston, LA.
Jami was offered her first job in St. Petersburg, FL, at a nursing home facility. She also worked in the public school system for 3 years, but felt working with elderly people was more rewarding. She was offered a new position last August as Director of Rehab. She has been practicing for 17 years.
Jami’s married Shawn Hagan 7 years ago, and I have two grand dogs…Onyx and Skye.
I can be reached by emailing me at radishrose@hotmail.com or via telephone at (727) 455-8395.
Angela Moore - Artist Information
I can remember the first crayon drawing done on my bedroom wall when I was three. Since then, I try to use things other than walls to show my love of art. I am infatuated with color and the way that it can make paintings feel. I love oil, acrylic, and pastel. Being an Arkansas native, I am always inspired by the beauty around me in the state in which we live. Orange sunsets, green trees, and blue skies. When I travel, I find inspiration all around me as well. I continue to try to improve my artwork and the style in which I portray my subject. I believe art is something more than just that, that your eyes see, but in which it is felt in being made, and being felt once being seen.
I can be reached by emailing me at anne.kmoore@gmail.com.
